Whether or not you choose Three Wishes Parties as your party entertainment, these hints and tips should help any party run that little bit smoother.
Encourage as many parents as possible to ‘drop and go’. Children have a much better time when they feel uninhibited and free to get involved. Parents that stay can be a distraction and if you haven’t got a large party space can take up valuable space!
Keep a list of parent’s name and contact numbers. This will help parents to feel secure about leaving their children and means that you can get in contact in case of illness.
Balloons are great party decorations, but keep them tied up! They can be dangerous if children trip over them and can also cause arguments.
In hot weather, provide small bottles of water or squash. Keeping the children hydrated means they are less likely to become fractious later on.
Bring a small cd player and some fun music. Children love to dance and if parents are late to collect it is easy to play musical statues/ bumps to keep them occupied.
